loss of subtitles on itv 3 and 4

My Satellite Setup
panasonic viera tv with inbuilt sat decoder for freeview uk on astra 2 and other sat facility for astra 1 channels via manual switcher as diseq doesnt work

anyone know why i would be having problems with subtitles on itv 3 and 4, im using a panasonic tv with inbuilt fta decoder, always used to be ok but now they dont want to work or they work intermittently. as im pretty deaf its really frustrating

Sky minidish and Sky + HD 250gig Anytime+ box with full ish appart from sports and movies, Dreambox DM500s clone (Pli Jade3 max var F/W), Motorised 1.1Meter Dish

I`m not sure if it is related (probably not) but my gran has had trouble of late with text on Freeview

Apparently on the ITV and Channel 4 channels the text has stopped all together but the BBC red button works
