hi all
i setup my brother in laws system last christmas, its a technomate 5500 cip with a 80 cm dish pointed at 42 east for eurasiasat1, up until thursday he had 40 odd channels and everything was sweet, then his son played with the settings and now there are no channels and when i search i either get no signal or no channel, i think he might have changed the transponder setting, does anyone know what transponder setting its meant to be, if anyone needs more info please post. thx in advance.

First thing I'd check would be the LNB settings to make sure all is OK there

e.g LNB power set to on, Type set to Universal, LOF 1 set to 9750, LOF 2 set to 10600,
Switch set to 11700.

Then maybe input manually 12130v 11719. Nice strong transponder.
And see if you get a signal there.
