Everything is out to get me with this install, If I put it on the wall that gets me the most on the West I need a 12" T&K but need the flat bit on on the K to the Right, but they are all on the left! If I put it on the other wall I need a 24" T&K and need the flat bit on the Left but most are on the right!

Sods law!

Why do you need the flat bit on one side vs the other? Also don't forget that you get additional stand-off from the motor and dish mounting as well.

The dish needs to swing around the corner of the wall, if its on the W wall it needs to swing east, if the pole is on the wrong side of the bracket it will hit the wall.

What are these additional bits?

There is at least one thread on this subject, with the K at the top winning under most circumstances (the third bolt secures better than a T at the top of a ridge, or vented brick course).

You were against such a foundation last week though, why not go for another option more appropriate for a motorised system on a wall ?

Hm, you can always turn the brackets upside down to get the flat bit on the side you want...

BTW, not sure where in South Wales you are but near Bristol, 70e is very difficult to get due to atmospherics. 68.5e is doable though as it's a stronger satellite.

The leg on the K would be facing up, getting tempted to call someone out to come up with some ideas, if I still had my MIG or ARC i'd have chopped that L and shortened it and add a supporting leg lol.

At an earlier point you were considering mounting the dish on the rear wall - so would that solve the above issues with the bracket, or would that not let you access the most Westerly sats that you want to?

Yeah on the rear wall I would end up using a 24" T&K and only get 40-45 west, it would also stick out quite far in to my rear garden.
If I put it back on the side but closer to the wall I can get a full sweep of the arc.

I have a few TKs in the shed - I need to check sizes. Which side do you need the flat side on?

I am just off J21 on the M5 so feel free to collect if I have it.

BTW, on larger T&Ks, you can drill the holes where you need them for the U bolts and cut off the rest...

Flat bit on the right side.
Good idea with cutting bits off, I have an angle grinder and some drills.

Thank you for the offer, appreciate that. Fingers crossed I will find something suitable though first.

Actually I remember Stab not being able to swing beyond 53 east at my location but that was probably because of some weird limits...

What is this other option CH?

There is more than one, I have some mounts in the lock up that would be suitable if the corner was not the perfect slot (one piece triangular section with a square base, welded to a 3 inch mast), though in your situation you might be better off with one of the original Channel Master flexi mount designs.

Channel Master wall/roof mount for 1.2M, 1.0M 0.9M satellite antenna. 3" mast. | eBay

I have something similar in painted steel (and 2" mast) but these require turning on the main support axis for a corner fit.
