Hi, im thinking of buying a Manhattan ST 1000, but im not sure of its features and is it any good. Can anyone tell me about this reciever, who ever has it or who knows about it..any links to a site?..is this reciever updatable, like has it got any cam slot or card slot?...if anyone knows much appreiated.

Manufactured for the Eurosat Group (and many others) by Techsan Korea

Same looks as the ST 2000 CI from the front.

First attempt at a digital receiver, free to air only, some problems with different versions of remotes, indifferent software upgrades and some trouble with the tuner/psu.

Discontinued over two years ago, tuners no longer available

Get something else, or if you are depserate pay no more than £40 for it. Check the remote works with the machine before handing the money over
