Hi people.

I'm a complete newbie here. Forgive me if I'm in the wrong section, feel free to redirect me.

Question is this.

My friend has a house that's gonna be knocked down soon and we're using it as the "lads Sky Sports house" while our wives watch some dreary reality show at home!

But one of us has to bring their sky plus box round with card so we can have our fun.

We thought that if we bought a new box between us and just brought one of our cards round it would be cleaner than having to unwire our boxes every time we get together.

But we need to make the card think it's inserted into the right box because Sky marry the serial number and card number together.

Is this achievable and how do we go about it?

I seem to keep hearing about T-Rex and Dragon Cam

Am I on the right lines?

Cheers for any help

no, there's no need for Star Wars characters.
In the CAM menu, you can set the BoxID. Et voila :)

If T-Rex is significantly cheaper than Super T-Rex then get that - it's likely you'll simply be able to go into the CAM menu and set the BoxID which you read from the Sky box to which the card is paired.

This will then open the premium channels.

If the predator version on the CAM does not support this, you'll need a programmer card (FUNcard) and a programmer. There are how-tos with regards to this on the site.

satellites.co.uk sponsors seem to have these for close to £100.
