What is a monoblock LNB, how is it different and when is it indicated?

Also, if using offset LNB's for two satellites, how are the two signals ultimately combined, i.e. does the receiver need two LNB inputs, or do you need two receivers, or are there switches available?

Thanks

Is it possible, in the South of France, to receive Astra 1 & 2 using offset LNB's? I currently have a single LNB looking at 28.2 and it works just fine.

Thanks

Its an lnb with 2 input heads , set at 6 degrees apart when used with an 80 cm dish. Only one cable required as there is a disecq switch built into the unit.

Have merged the two threads and put them in the dish setup section.

Yes you can use two LNBs, one offset for 19.2 East, but the main focus on Astra 28.2, if you are using a non-Sky box, then all you need is a DiseqC switch to combine the feeds from the two LNBs, the receiver controls the switching.

PS. Already partially answerred this question Here
