Hi All,
I am still looking to buy a monoblock for my Lidl system which has been pointed at 19.2E for a year now. Obviously this will give me Hotbird too, but I was wondering if I could also pick up 16E for Sic Internacional. I'd appreciate a reply.
Cheers,
mrtomato.

Whilst no expert my understanding is that with a monobloc you can receive a sat 3 degrees away depending on which you make the primary. Thus you can have 16 degrees with 19.2 as your primary, but to receive Hotbird wouldn't you need the primary on 16 degrees?? Thus you would no longer receive 19.2 degrees. Or am I completely misunderstanding what a monobloc is?

monoblocs have a fixed 6 degree head separation(*), so you cant do 19E and 16E. Rolfw mentioned a tri headed lnb recently specifically for 13E / 16E / 19E but I dont think its in production yet.

BTW - SIC is normally encrypted

(*) 6 degrees when used with an 80cm dish anyway.

Yes, http://www.horizonhge.com/hge/pyramid.shtm Will E-mail them for a date, should have been available by now. Have asked them to supply an evaluation product, there a lot of members on here who would be interested if it works well. :)

Any chance of a couple of dozen evaluation units for all the mods to try out as well ;)

LOL, I'm expecting to pay for it, but if it works well would like to offer them from the forum.

ROLFW, Why only LNBs ? Our forum should offer every thing. I believe most of our members would prefer to buy from the forum. And also forum should have buy and sell facility for used items. Ofcourse the forum will have a fee to provide this service - say some thing similar to eBay.
