Intelsat 7 will move from 68.5E to 60E

Intelsat 9 will move from 58W to 43W

Intelsat 706 is moving from 72E to way out over the Pacific at 157E

Bye bye 706 - cant see this dilapidated old craft coming back to European skies.

You knew the current and predicted satellite movements are also on my list (between the brackets)? Just the ones visible from Europe though

The mystery ones right now are Astra 1E (near 21 East) and Apstar 2R (near 62 East), but that last one may now be climbing to graveyard altitude.

Acc ording to a post on the sat-obs site Apstar 2R has indeed been binned.

Thanks, bookmarked the satobs.org site, may come handy.
I'll move Apstar 2R to the end-of-life section.
Altitude already for a few days increased well above 36000 km, that sometimes means a hurried drift to a westward position, but usually means the end.

As you can see, I made a separate section for drifting satellites, to find them more easily, instead of looking for them in the main list.
