"Made In...." is quite a big brand - they have several channels in various locations around the UK.

My own belief is that most of the channels will be found to be unsustainable after a few years.

The STV backed ones may last longer - STV Glasgow seems to be doing OK, Edinburgh is due on air soon, and STV have bid for 3 more licences in the last few weeks.

Yup thats pretty typical - epg data often runs for weeks before the video & audio appears. Made In Leeds is expected to appear on satellite around Nov 24th, so video will appear on the 17th.

All transmitting fta atm :)

A fascinating licence re-award for Birmingham - the licence from the defunct City8 TV has been awarded to Kaleidoscope TV - part of the same organisation that saves heritage tv

From the KAL facebook page

Whilst not directly connected to the heritage, archive and publishing sides of the organisation, KTV will provide an outlet for local viewers to see again classic programmes and should help with some financial support to Kaleidoscope's wider activities.

On air date is mid February next year
