My Location

Hi i live near Barcelona and have a motorised dish
long lat is 3.0e by 41.8 n
which is the best sat for my location to pull in as many sats on the arc as possible?
i started at 19.2 but i know this is not correct,is it thor?

Well what you are trying to find is the highest point of the arc that you see in your location and for 3deg longitude as there is no sat transmitting there and no channels on 4degrees E then the top of your arc is going to be 4.8 degrees, i.e. Sirius 2/3 Astra 1c.
It should certainly get you near enough anyhow and from there you can fine tune. Good luck, let us know how you get on.
