Hi I Have Moteck Sg100a Motor And Have 1.25 Gibertini Dish I Was Wondering Will That Motor Be Suitable For My Dish, Or Do I Need Stab120 Please Advice.

Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

Having seen the Gilbertini 125cm dish in the flesh, I believe that it is too heavy for any of the available DiseqC motors, you would be better with a 36v motor interfaced via a V-Box.

anything over 1.2metre it would be best to go the 36v motor route

Stab is good for the Gibertini, even Stab make special spacers for the OP120 Gibertini which you need to use.

However the Moteck is too weak for the OP120 and the motor will hit the mount when you turn it, that's why you need the Stab HH120 with Stab spacers for OP120.
