Hi all I have not been on here much but I wonder if you could help me. I set myself up a motorised sat system a few years ago but I dont think I have got it quite right ever since I set it up. I wonder for starters someone could tell me if this is right for Hertford Herts SG14 area. Long 000.092 West, Lat 051.793 North.
I am picking up 45East just but I have to nudge the motor west a little bit to get a better signal.
I am picking up 22West just.
I am not picking up 7.3 West nor am I picking up 26East.
My set up is a 1m dish with a TM800HD reciever (i know they are not the best reciever buit it works for me).
The pole is dead plumb I used to get 30W but the strong winds did move it a while ago and I thought I put it back right. I have just uploaded a new satellite and channel list and done a complete scan but still can not get 30 west and the others. I do have trees behind my house but they have not interfered with it to much 0.8 west on BBC World News is 77% and no break up on an overcast rainy day (today).
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks Michael
