My Satellite Setup
SKY digibox, 60cm fixed minidish pointing at 28.2E, one LNB FTA. Technomate CI1500+

Hi Rolf and others,

THis might be an incredibly silly question!
Further to my previous post which you responded with excellent advice. Is it possible to motorise a SKY minidish to receive 28.2 (v. important, 19.2 (not so interested and Hotbird 13 (most interested!) ? I live in London. I bought the Technomate 1500+ - really happy with it and I am pointing fixed with standard minidih at Astra 28.2.

If not, I will loo into either a separate dish on 13E or a multiLNB and bigger dish (but this might not be popoular due to size!!)

Thanks

Michael

Yes, you can motorise a minidish, better to use a zone 2 minidish though, or perhaps a standard 60cm dish. :)

This is a Zone 2 on a motor.View attachment 5786

and also when you want to watch sky at 28e you will have to loop the sky reciever through the other reciever

what i would do is keep sky on the minidish and use a 80cm for anything else like 13east
