Got my replacement Triax TD110 today :) put all the dish together. Below is a picture of it ready to go up.

I have also uploaded a picture of the back of our house. As you can see from the sky dish our house faces ~30degrees east. I want the bottom of the dish to just be above gutter height and im using 24" T+K Brackets with a 5 foot scaffolding pole.

Near I had a few problems with the motor and getting the cable over the roof. I ended up just walking up the roof and throwing it over.

The dish is up and I have got an excellent signal on 28.2e, 26e, 19.2e, 16e, 13e, 1w, 30w. I was surprised how good signal is coming through from 1w (thor). I have not hooked up the motor to the V BOX or my receiver yet just been using the sat meter (Horizon Digital Satellite Meter) to check the arc.

Below is some pics so far, will finish off tomorrow :)

Im using simese CATV cable for the motor and dish.

If you hit problems getting it installed, as they are very tricky unless the guy knows what he's doing, try Merseysat.

Hi!
dont use vbox, with heavier sat dishes,on this motor,or lager versions,i have the jager smo 36 dual axis, and,a dealer,in germany told me,that the volt outputs,of vbox, are not strong enough, when the antenna is to heavy, your vbox will gone..
it can work, but not very long,he told!

he recomended using the manhattan plaza reveivers,500,what are the difrents in each modell 450 500 and 550?
dont find,this modell,for a good price,have only the old starlight,that does not have the 5. conector,for the 2.optical sensor !
that have my smo 36!

those manhattan plaza receivers aren't made any more so a vbox will have to be used as receivers with 36volt positioners aren't made anymore or the demand isn't there for them because diseqc 1.2/usals motors have taken over
