Hi, im thinking of moving to sirius 5e but I have no motor so have to climb a ladder. I just wanted to know where to move the dish from hotbird to find sirius. I also wanted to know the smallest dish size I could possibly get away with, Thanks in advance

looking from behind the dish swing it to the right, and up. Are you using a meter? If not you will find it hard.:)

For tuning by yourself without any signal finding system, my experiences said that the swiss channels are the best for manual research, but I'm not sure whether the wickness of the swiss channels are the same on other satellites or no.

For the European beam I should think 60cm.
I used this sized dish when I first started and it picked up most of the channels on Sirius 2.
