I've been lurking for a while now but can't seem to find the info I'm after.

My setup consists of:
Strong SRT-4375, MR CAM (1.055), Stab RotorSat 120HH motor,
60cm mesh dish (ex-$ky analogue) & Cambridge Platinum 0.6db LNB.

I am located near Liverpool (Longitude:2.8, Latitude:53.4).

I was hoping I could get some help with a few queries.

1) Does MR CAM (1.055) work on Strong 4375 without replacing IC (U206)?
2) With updated keys, what channels should I get from Hotbird/Astra 19.2?
3) Should I get a flicker of a signal at 30w on 60cm mesh dish & 0.6db LNB?

Any comments would be appreciated, TIA.

As for a signal from 30W with 60cm dish....Not sure but would say no.

Will MR work in your box....Ask them before you buy.

Also...Lurking is ok for a while, but after a while you just have to dive in.

Razor, Thanks for the pointers.

MR CAM doesn't seem to decrypt some(all?) of packages mentioned, I may have to replace that IC. Will take this issue over to MR forum.

I've had the 4375 for over 2 years and MR for 3 months, so "ask them before you buy" isn't a realistic option. ;)

Guess I'll also be upgrading to a bigger dish then.

Cheers.

Just got my 4375 (with u206 replaced) back from local TV/Sat shop (cost £10).

Wow! I can decode channels again! :)

This hardware fix seems to work a treat, now I need to apply the software fix.

Did you get MR to work on your strong 4375?
