To be honest it's more about me just having the four switches neatly hidden away in one place otherwise I would just attach them to the fence in their blue plastic shields!

And finally... The 30°W dish is in position!

That's all the dishes now and just cabling/some LNB changing to sort. :D

They aren't up yet! Single feed of 30W/5W/3.1E just going into a temporary 4 way switch next to the minidish.

I'm going to end up with four two ways I think -

1 - 5W & 19.2E
2 - 5W & 19.2E
3 - 30W & 13E (new LNB to fit on minidish)
4 - 3.1E & 13E or 30W

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
wrt the sealed enclosure, one of mine has holes at each end (and you can see right through)!

Never come across one that isn't.

Seems kind of an essential characteristic.

Even the really cheap ones I have are hermetically sealed and the connectors shrouded by a plastic enclosure which slips over the entire device.

I'd be most interested in seeing examples of types designed for outside use that don't cut the mustard.

If the plastic enclosure was damaged or missing, it would be a different story of course.

In this particular case, I'm sure Adam will easily be able to make a judgement.

Finished the cabling/switching off today!

In the end I have -

Switch 1: 5°W & 19.2°E, Switch 2: 5°W & 19.2°E, Switch 3: 30°W & 3.1°E, Switch 4: 13°E & empty (will be 28.2°E if/when I get round to fitting another LNB!)

You were right that the switches would be fine without any kind of box around them, they're just cable tied so they sit upright against the pole. :D

Minidish has 19.2°E and 13°E. 13°E is offset because I want to get 28.2°E on the other side, but the signal seems OK even on the DVB-S2 8PSK stuff.

80cm in the corner has 5°W (now swapped to a Black Ultra twin) and 3.1°E, and the front 80cm is 30°W as before.

I used some snap and seal style F plugs which were horrible to snap on to the cables. I mangled two of them but at least I had enough spares to get them all on...
