They do perform quite well for their size, you may get some dropout in rainy conditions though.

i dont know whether to invest 140 quid in the 40cm multimo (which is supposed to act like a 55cm)...the benefits would be excellent....place on a table inside the window.

or shall i go for a zone2 60cm minidish, attached to a mic stand?

mmmmmmmm anyone else got suggestions?

Well a zone 2 minidish you might pick up for £10-15 out of the local paper, and if it's not giving the results you expect you haven't lost much.
Whereas £140 is a lot for something that might not give enough signal thru a window.

Good point, well made.

If it performs like West Bromwich Albion, you could always use it as an interesting fruit bowl.

Strangely enough, I have the West Brom' team on my sideboard and they really bring out the flock wallpaper. :D

just to let you guys know...I paid 30UKP for the zone2 60cm skydish, that included 20m cable lnb, brackets etc.

But I attached it to an old mic stand in a spare bedroom, behind the window.

Hotbird is perfect, signal and quality around 60-80 %.

Bare in mind, im in northern england, and bare in mind I got double glazing....im really pleased.

glad i didnt invest 140 quid on the multimo now...

did not use a meter too....just used the in built meter on my dreambox..and gently moved the dish by hand.......eeeassssyyyyyyyyy ;)

No, but the wallpaper wasn't securely attached. :D

To dasteelman, the milkybarkid was always one of the goodies. ;)
