I am newbie on the subject. Own small lodge of 12 rooms. Want to install free to air DTH with one receiver in each room. But to avoid 12 nos. of dish on the roof top, is it possible to use 'multiport LNBs'. If yes, where can I buy this in India or how can I import from other places...?

sagitta.

You could either use a Quattro LNB on a single dish and a 12 way multiswitch, or two dishes, one with a quad and one with an octo output LNB.

Thanks. Can you also tell me does this use of multiport affect reception. Someone told me, sometimes one looses "H" or "V" signals (pictures ??).

Thanks.
