I'l be lucky if anyone else here has heard of him but I'm very sorry to learn of the death of Nash the Slash aged only 66. Real name Jeff Plewman he performed under his nom-de-plume since the late seventies playing electric violin, keyboards and would loop music when no-one else knew what looping was. I saw him in the early 80s at the legendary Eric's in Liverpool and even today play his LP Children of the Night. I also have it as an MP3 and frequently play it in the car. His stage appearance could be desribed as unique: he would wear surgical bandages covering his face and top it off with a bow tie, white dinner jacket, white top hat and sunglasses. For a solo performer he could produce a prodigious noise wiht his electric violin, echoes and looping. RIP Nash, I was really sad to learn of your passing.
