MVision S3 FORGOT PASSWORD

Hi,

I have a Mvision S3 box over in Spain in a family holiday apartment. Unfortunately my Grandfather has passed away and he was the only person who knew the passcode on the TV box. We've had no problems with it before but all of a sudden it is asking us for the passcode. Is there a way to reset the box or take the passcode off without actually having the original code?

Ye we've tried 0000 already thank you. We found the manual online and theres nothing in there but I did find somewhere the default code would have been 0000.

You could do a factory reset on it, although you would need to set the box up again from scratch - and if its got any card shares set up on it then you would wipe those as well..

I don't think a full factory reset would be ideal. It was a very long time ago when we got the box and I believe a local guy to La Manga set it all up for us.
