I bought an old 1.3m dish for €80 the other day, and sold it on already, but i can have a few days fun with it before the guy comes to pick it up. This is my ´table top´ 1.3m dish, aiming at Telstar 12, i have also included a list which gives an excellent idea of what you can get in spain with what size dish. The LNB arms are aluminium and heavily fatigued, so ill have to buy 2 new pipes and fix them so they fit, and theres the big ugly lable on the front which will be off soon. On the lists, the higlighted satellites are what you can get with an 80cm. And the ones with black lines mean there is no signal, not even on the 1.3m. But the ones with nothing at all i havent tried yet with the 1.3, so i´ll keep you posted. :)

Ah, he's talking about a DISH .........

When I got my SL65 (snap!), Lidl had just one 80cm dish in shop, for a remarkable £18, have regretted not buying it ......

Mind you, as I keep saying, 40cm and FTA is still more than enough for me, cos how much tv can you possibly watch?

looks smaller than what i thought that size dish would be like, its probably cause the picture is making it smaller

It is a 1.3. It must be a camera thing. I got the idea for using the table because the parasol stand that i use for my 80cm, the one from Lidl, is too small, so i just keep it propped with the legs of the table. I can also slide the table left to right easily, so again its even better than a wall mount. Parents arent to happy though. It only comes out when they go to bed (10pm+).:-rofl2 (they are getting on a bit...)

Yeah, but getting the elevation is a real problem. I´ll be happy to have it back on a bracket.:)

Just put a couple of concrete blocks side by side under the front of the table and a scissor jack at the back for inclined orbit tracking.
