... is yet to be reassembled... :D

Anyway, here's a pic (using the ol' mobile!!!) of the feedhorn fitted with my Inverto White Tech C120 LNB... :D

And that LNB still looks microscopic compared to other LNBs!!!

EDIT:
For those in the know, the number on the side of the feedhorn I think is 3801107... :D

Your's is for a 90CM dish, and mine is a former 2-way broadband dish so it was for transmitting aswell as recieving... :confused

I've yet to try it though, I'm tempted just to wave it about looking for an astra1 analogue channel just to see if it'll pick anything up as-is... :D

These seem to work well together, you should be very pleased with the result mate.

Excuse the untidy lashup (sorting it when we get 2 dry days in a row) but while we're getting em out .....

I was looking at the LNB arm last night of my big dish, an noticed the extra positions on the "blank space" under where the original Tx/Rx assembly was, and started thinking what it was for. Maybe C-Band, a bigger assembly perhaps, or just one of those neat little covers for the LNBs? :confused

I was looking at the dish sat atop the local Co-op this morning and it's identical to my dish (excluding the transceiver which looked different), not sure about the size, but they could be the same model... :D

Hi Cvbloke,

This is very interesting, I am trying to learn more on this new hobby of mine(sat tv reception).

Does it mean these Vsat fibre dishe and lnbs can receive sat tv? Is there any modification you do apart from removing the transmitter?

I haven't tested it yet, but as far as I know all you have to do is swap the transmitter assy. for a C120 LNB and it should work as a normal TV or data (1-way broadband) reception dish... :)

Oh, and don't forget the 2 in 2cvbloke!!! :D

I can't put my new dish up as the landlord is having the front of my new house re-pointed and sandblasted... :(

ho-hum, I guess I'll just put it together indoors and have it sat waiting for the day I can put it outdoors... :D
