I would like a satellite receiver with;
3000+ channels
2 common interface slots
2 scarts
Embedded Freeview
Decent 7 day EPG
OTA software upgrades

I suppose the Fortec Star comes close, but no OTA upgrades.

Any ideas, anyone

one is from space, the other is a terrestrial service, so you would still require two outside receiving devices

besides what if you are watching one, but want to record the other, without a hard disc ?

Looks like the only receiver that will come close to what you need is a Xtreme PVR....9000 channels, 2 common etc.....
