Feeds are not like normal TV channels they are only active when the Sports event is live then when the event has finished the frequency is leased by another operator with a different symbol rate & modulation,

After 11pm most feed frequencies have shut down = No Signals.

i think this feed is full atr and 24/7 though cause its shows logo and everything not just the race itself

Edit: its not 24/7, so do i have to wait until event is on for it to come back?

The contours in the UK are in the mid 40s dBW, which equates to c.80cm dish. Some will get it with a 60cm no doubt.

That's not big.

All the information you need is available on resources such as Flysat, so it's as easy for you to look things up as it is to pose a question and have someone else do it ..... ;)

3.1°E is a fairly easy catch on a 60cm here in the West Midlands. The Greek channels show a weak signal but because of the really low FEC (3/5) they lock down to a very low level.

John you REALLY need to learn how how to read footprint maps - we cant possibly answer every minor question about coverage areas. Use the links on the flysat site to the footprints then look at the contours & relate that to the dish sizes at the bottom of every page.

Plus you need to read up about feeds and find a few feeds sites to refer to. This is one Ive got bookmarked here - there are quite a few others covering European satellites

Feed reports, live active frequencies - Satelliweb

Thanks - now we know what your real issue is. The only real solution would be to mount the dish higher and further South - probably on a pole in the garden if that is possible. In fact that's probably the best solution because the dish might not have be very high, hopefully at a height that you can reach and adjust more easily. OTOH the dish mounting pole would need to be very firmly mounted in some sort of lump of concrete to ensure that it will absolutely vertical and won't move in the wind (etc.).

well the problem is with pole mounts is that the garden has got lots of stuff in it
