Hi,
Pictures of my motorised zone1 minidish setup. I didn't think it would work, but 28.2E,19E and 13E all fine. Originally had a 90cm dish on the mount, but had to take it down as neighbour complained :confused

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Stick your 90cm back up!!! You're legally allowed up to 1M in size with a 60cm 2nd dish, and if your neighbours complain just give them the facts!!!:-Nooo

But your minidish does look funny on a motor!!! :-rofl2

Well, the dish happened to be right outside their patio door. He also threatened to plant a massive tree in front of it, so really I was fighting a losing battle anyway. Did get hime to cut down his leylandiis down a bit though.
I can't go west because of his house and the minidish is big enough for the east sats I want anyway.

and yes it does look funny

Ground-mount perhaps? :D

As for Leylandii, that's eeeeevil stuff!!! My new house has about 5 or 6 grouped together in a 6-8 foot raised bed, and they're bloomin' huge!!! But it's the landlord's duty to remove them, especially as I have nothing tool-wise to sort them out... :D

Yes, that might have worked (screwed the mount to the bottom of a tree) but unfortunately the signal was blocked by wife:eek:

My neighbour told me to cut the trees down in my gardens.. i told her i would but on a second thought i said, if i cut them down you will see all the dishes on full display.. 60cm on the side (facing her house). 80cm on the back (facing her house). and 2 1m's ground mounted looking at the trees.

There is a big tree hiding the 60cm. and 2 bushes hiding the 2 1m's and the 80cm.

I also have room for a further 1m which im contemplating. which would be hiden by a 10ft fence and a bush.. i did have my dish there before but moved it as its on British Gas owned land. they survey the site every 2 years.. so theyre due :p

Oh sorry back on topic.. you dish does look funny.. i had my zone 2 on a motor last year.. took it down as it seemed the t&k and motor looked bigger than the dish

I'm jealous. I can only have my funny looking motorised minidish. Good thing though- I don't have to look at it, its down the side of my house, and can only normally be seen by my neighbour.
