While I was filling my mum's fishtank with some fresh water, I noticed that my cat, Spud, had a rather large paw, and after catching her, it turns out it's swollen up eithr through a bite, sting or cut, but I can't find anything like a beestinger or a cut, but there is a sorespot on the side of the pad on her paw... :(

Poor thing, if it's not gone down by tomorrow, it's off the the cat doctors with her for the 3rd time!!!

Dont worry, if the area is clean and you can see no foreign object embedded in the paw (try running your finger over the area to check for glass shards etc)she will probably tend to it herself. Keep an eye on it the, the cat doctors will be a must if any abcess forms

Her paw's back to normal today, I thought it was just a temporary thing as one of my mum's cats had the dame thing last summer and her paw went down overnight too... :)

She did seem to have a sore spot though, but I have yet to catch her to check her paw again... :D
