Is it possible to watch National Geographic on hotbird/12520 which is using viaccess2.5?

well you can see it in english on astra on D+ using Nagra2. D+ is generally in spanich but offers loads off channels also in english, very similar to canal sat.

Well at least he knows that if he can't see it on hotbird nothing is lost and he could see it on Astra.

That is true but that is assuming he motorised and is able to move his dish, which is doubtful but yes it could be useful for someone, I was not being critical.
