Good stuff - what size dish have you got there ? and north or south UK ??

at the moment its a normal sky mini dish
in the north west (liverpool)

Fine - don't know whether you have a zone 1 or 2 sky dish living where you are as they use zone 2 the further north they install.
You will get 13E from where you are, but the sig strength will suffer in really bad weather.
Still, good dishes are not expensive and I know a man who is selling an 8 week old diseqc motor at a reasonable price (an in joke I'afraid).

From seeing your set up ,I would suggest downloading the nvidia pure video decoder from nvidia and updating with the latest nvidia graphs.The improvements on deinterlacing are excellent.To check what I mean have a look at the ticker at the bottom of cnbc,difficult to read?Clears with pure video and all pictures are sharper.

im on 13e quality 60 link between 49 and 59

some channels dont show anything , do i need diffrent keys ?

and i cant find art (football)

Do some chammels not transmit anything when off air ? it's just that their is a lot of blank channels ? .I know we cant talk keys etc , Are a lot of these not watchable using s2emu1.20 because they dont use that type of encryption ? and finally , channels with no name , I have more than 500 is that because im using a old version of prog dvb .
I cant believe the difference between my old/new dish this picks up so much more ,

BTW I was talking to a few people in my local satelitte shop who gave a glowing reference to this site yesterday , keep up the good work , its very much appreciated

Nice to be appreciated , and I'm sure that goes for everyone else who has ever answered a question here. So thanks georges local satellite shop.

Basically, anything listed as PowerVu,Cryptoworks,NDS/Videoguard,RAS,Conax or Via2.5 wil not be available to you. But there are other satellites up there should you get bored of 13E.

I'm not sure where I should be putting this Question and perhaps I shouldn't even be asking it !
but here goes
I've been asked to install a Nord Net Internet by Satellite system here in France. It's the 'Jet' package which uses a link via Astra 2F
T o enable him to use the dish to also receive TV from Astra1 the kit incudes a ulnb and an offset mtg. bracket for it
No problem!
But he also wants to receive TV from Astra2! Is it possible to break into the output from the 'receive' channel on the transmit/receive head,and use its output to feed the TVsatbox when its not being used on internet? Or is this head tuned only to the channel on which the net signal is being received ?
In which case I shall have to fit a second dish looking at Astra2 I guess !

Astra 1 and Astra 2 are at different places on the horizon. Depends on the size of the dish but you may be able to fit a second LNB to the dish to pick up the other satellite(s)
