Hey. My PCI card supports 22 kHz and DiSEqC 1.0 for switching frequency range . Does this mean that I will only be able to use a DiseQC motor that uses the 1.0 (whatever that is, version, protocol). If this "22 kHz and DiSEqC 1.0 for switching frequency range" thing is for my PCI card, what kind of motor would you recommend me? Thanks.

If it is a Skystar2, then there is a plugin for motor control with the major viewers.

it is a skystar2 but there is only one slot on the card - the one cable tha comes back from the lnb. basically most rotators i can see on the market are using DiseqC 1.2 - am i going to be able to use this one with skystar2?

Forget the spec of the card, the plugins are for DiseqC 1.2, several members here have them operating DiseqC motors, have a look in the PC card forum.

I will move this thread. to there.

No, one cable only, that is the beauty of DiseqC motors. :)
