When you think of the bubble headed ephemeral "celebrities" that get rammed down our throats by their fawning media these days this guy was a true hero - and he was just doing his job.

Maybe the world wouldnt be in such a mess if todays youngsters aspired to be more like the astronauts of the 60s & 70s instead of the latest media hyped talentless nobody
