Netflix (UK) - another month's free trial!

For a couple of years I had a Netflix sub for a few months over the winters, but last cancelled it around this time in 2016 and did not renew last Autumn - and then, yesterday, I got an email from Netflix offering me another free month's trial to tempt me to fully renew with the Punch line something like " a lot has changed since you left us".

Will probably take them up - why not! - but don't intend to stay for more than a month!;)

How does Netflix compares to Amazon Prime Video?
We finally got the possibility to subscribe to APV today, but it is a very modest content to say the least.

Haven't watched Netflix for a year or so, and cancelled because - at least at that time - most of the content appeared to be either old'ish or not the sort of things we would want to watch - not sure what it is like today but will take another look over the next few days or so.

Another factor in cancelling was that we were already Amazon Prime subscribers (we do buy quite a lot from them, unfortunately:eek:) and so we don't pay extra for some of the films - also the films come in HD for a slightly lower price than from Sky (and many of the latter were only in 720x whatever for a lot of the time)

We have Netflix and when we find time we binge out on a full box set for a week or so, there is always something new to watch.

Not really "boxed set people" - just a little of this and a little of that (except for SWMBO who like looking at lots of old Star Trek NG episodes)
