The Gibertini 150cm certainly isn't big enough for horizontal transponders from Nilesat7w, vertical Tp's should be ok. If you can receive 8W and 5W then the pole your referring to certainly shouldn't be a problem.

How far is the bottom of the dish from the ground?

As a rule of thumb and for safe margins, work on an elevation of 1 in 2, so with a 2m fence, and a dish at ground level, you would need to be 4 metres away, if your dish is a metre off the ground, then you should clear the fence by a metre.

Forget all that trying to work out angles malarky. Have a look at the images I have attached. On my dish (Gibertini 1.5) I put a sighting tube. Note, it looks like the tube is parallel to the LNB arm but in fact it is a little bit steeper. Anyway the bottom line is if you bend down and look along the LNB arm if you are looking over the fence you are fine, if not all or part of the dish is obscured.

i do a vague hitlers salute and that is the angle. i am in hull and with a cheapo 1.8m dish during a clear day i can only just get city7 and showtime comedy extra - (strongest signal). my 1 metre lenson heath can clear them on a clear night with a few squiggles so you should get them fine with a 1.5 gibertini, even if its misspelt.....
