I tried the C band in blindscan (40 ° East), all the frequencies were found.
It was necessary to make a "restart" so that it finds the programs on all these frequencies, unfortunately there is no image.
With OpenVIX version 5 2 011 we could see a fuzzy picture, but with the new versions the screen stays black.
I did not look elsewhere for the T2MI.
On the 40 ° East it's really special, because they are T2MI on Multistreams.
Perhaps the difficulty comes from there.
I'm only working with OpenVIX. T2MI.jpg

Also a plug in spectrum analyser would be nice, but I don't know whether that would be possible, the experts on here perhaps could tell us. Like Stephen many thanks for the work so far!!
A spectrum analyzer is an analogue device, not digital. And for it to be worth doing the tuner would have to be able to do a band sweep in less than 1 second. That is beyond the scope of a DVB DTH STB.

Re this case of the FEC being corrected when the blindscan has finished, & the newly found channel is tuned. Does the FEC come from PSI/NIT, or returned by the tuner, perhaps in blind-lock mode (as opposed to blind-scan)?

What I'm really interested in is the latter ie can the box ultimately discover the correct parameters without the satellites.xml cheat-sheet, especially on *feeds* where there may be no NIT in the PSI, even when it fails (FEC auto) / returns the wrong FEC in blind-scan mode.
There is no useful NIT on the MIS/PLS on 5 west. So switch off syncing and do a scan of 5 west to see what that returns on the infobar. That way you will be able to see if the receiver is just reading the NIT or really working it out.

Yes you could push the results to the screen at the end of scanning each block. But what would be the point?

I just tried reading T2MI on 4.9 ° East.
It works perfectly with Openvix,:Y :)
but only from satellites, xml, the blindscan finds the frequency, but not the rest of the data that is needed.

The blindscan finds frequencies in 32APSK.
I do not know if it's really useful?
I have never seen a program in 32 APSK.
But technically it's remarkable. 32 apsk.jpg

@ Stephan94, SatDreamGr image is supposed to have code that will solve T2MI in blindscan. Please try that image and see if I am correct. Thanks.

T2MI needs an additional patch for Enigma2 for t2mi_plp_id. Use SatDreamGr 6 which has this value, and see if you can tune the C-band T2-MI channels manually. If you can, then blindscan should adapt the patch as well.

Are you saying with SDG there's no more need to mess with channel lists manually?

The tuner's firmware does not need astra-sm to download T2-MI channels. However, SDG has implemented more parameters for T2MI reception. But that's only with OS Nino Pro.

Nice. On a lookout for another receiver to replace the F15... Need to investigate.

Thank you for your comments.:)
So I will try with satdreamGr6.
Before I need some advice (I'm more dxer than specialist E2):(
I do so "full image backup" and a "Setting backup" Openvix that is on my Nino Pro.
(do I have to do both? or in "full image" there is also the setting?)
I load satdreamgr6 and see if T2MI ( multistream) also works on 40° East in C band.
After to return to OPenvix, should I first flash my Edision with the Osninopro folder then full backup and seting backup?
or I can take from the start the "full backup" of Openvix but which is a tar.gz.
probably silly , but I do not want to make a mistake.
thank you in advance

Easiest way is go to the plugins on your openvix image and add openmultiboot. Then load SDG intp multiboot. That way every time you reboot you get to choose which image boots.

I might try this myself. Be interesting to see if SDG have added the blindscan changes..

SDG has merged the changes I made to blindscan but not sure if they are in the build yet. Some of the changes were only added yesterday.

If you are interested in testing the T2MI stuff I can merge it into the image I supplied you.

Another great novelty (for a Dxer like me).
Feeds with Modus and PLS.
I did not know it existed.
Thanks to the blindscan nino Pro (Openvix image) two feeds with PLS were found on the 33 ° East.
Even programs like crazyscan or Ebspro can not find anything if they do not know the PLS.
They have the opportunity to search but it can take hours or days.
This receiver with this image is for me a "magic box" 33 ost mis pls.jpgamnfan-vert.jpgfeed mit pls-vert.jpg

Frankly I don't know why you are surprised at this point. The first thing advertised with this receiver is the ability of its Avalink tuner to discover MIS/PLS in real time. This is something that sets it even in front of professional PC cards in this aspect.
