Thank you for the information re the build and rollout status of the OpenViX image.

One more question if anyone can please help, does the latest stable and tested OpenVIX image dated 28th November 2018 include the recent blind scan coding work by "Huevos" for the Nino Pro (v 5.2.0.15)?
I do not think the memory feature where the blindscan settings you choose are stored in build 5.2.0.15.

For anyone buying a Nino Pro would they have to wait until these memory features are incorporated into a public build or is an unofficial build available from somewhere that already includes these features?

can you get T2MI transponders on 53 E - Ku fixed 1 channels

I just tried reading T2MI on 4.9 ° East.
It works perfectly with Openvix,:Y:)
but only from satellites, xml, the blindscan finds the frequency, but not the rest of the data that is needed.

I can only receive one frequency C Band (3962 R 3610), there are exactly the same problems as on 40 ° East.
for the Ku band my antenna is too small

@Captain Jack

It supports and displays T2MI but not multi PLP at the moment. So T2MI 40 east transport streams currently not possible.
... No idea if a fix will be provided, but at the current time no enigma2 receiver can deal with this type of transport stream natively.

Maybe a developer with passion for receptions will find a solution for T2-MI.
DM920 4K UHD finds these transponders at 40.0E ,but only that, the receiver doesn't stores :(

Hello,
very good idea to be able to search for new transponders, it facilitates the search for feeds.

I did the research twice, and I noticed that the new frequencies were also the second time found.
The second time they should no longer be considered new.
How can we make sure they are not "new" and put in the list of old frequencies

It doesn't say new. It says unknown. Unknown means they are not included in satellites.xml as explained in the hints text. The default satellites.xml is based on Lyngsat DTH transponders only. If you want something different either make your own or create one using satellites-xml.org.

Also every time you do a blindscan it creates a satellites.xml in /tmp so it is just a case of opening that file and copy/paste those into your satellites.xml master copy.

Sorry if you see this as a fault, but I don't. It was and still is the desired logic.

No, no, I do not see it at all as a fault,
it was just a question,
and as you say, (I had misread) these are unknown and not new frequencies.

Thank you for all the work you do, :-clap
this receiver has become with all your improvements for a dxer like me, indispensable:Y

I have to make a mistake, but I do not know where. :(
Whenever I change the satellites.xml master after doing a restart all the configuration of the tuners for all the satellites disappears.
I have to redo the whole configuration.
We change the satellites.xml without the configuration of all tuners disappears?

My guess is you have illegal mark up in your xml file. Post the file and we can try to find what is wrong.

Thank you for your help,
I just wanted to add the three unknown frequencies found by the Türksat blindscan (first ZIP)
in the satellites.xml master. the second ZIP (done with notepad) is the satellites.xml modified.
I only have to add 3 lines (3196,3197,3198)

When making changes to satellites.xml, put the new or changed satellites.xml in /etc/enigma2. If there are errors or problems, then remove the satellites.xml in /etc/enigma2 and reboot the box. I think this is the best way and works for me.

Use a proper text editor, e.g. Notepad+. Currently you have broken the encoding. And why are you not using UTF8?

After editing the xml file upload it to www.xmlvalidation.com to check the mark up is correct.

And why are you using an out of date xml file?

Many thank:Y
But I use Notepad++:oops:
It is the satellites.xml that was delivered with my receiver.
Where can we get a current xml (with Mutistreams and T2MI)?
How could I break the satellites.xml by copying only three lines (3196,3197,3198) ?
I would like to see my mistakes so that I can understand my mistakes, I like to understand what I'm doing.
Here is the original satellites.xml that works well and the one with only three extra lines that does not work.
Thank you Huevos for the xmlvalidation link.

One big mistake in the modded file Here:
Look at: <sat name="76.5E Ku-band Apstar 7" flags="1" position="765">
In the middle of the transponders, you have
</sat><sat name="166.0E C-band Intelsat 19" flags="1" position="1661">

To add transponders I use Dreamset seems to work for me, unless I'm missing something else I find that the easy way.
