There is also a TS Sat Editor plugin that can be used. That plugin needs to be updated, but you try it and see if it works.

What image was delivered with your receiver?
You can get the latest file from github: https://github.com/oe-alliance/oe-alliance-tuxbox-common/blob/master/src/satellites.xml
Or you can create one using my (non-profit-making) website: satellites.xml creator
Godd morning
It was ATV6.1
thank you very much to all of you for all these tips.:)
I just managed to load a new satellites.xml from 40.5 West to 75 East with the help of satellites.xml creator, it worked.
my next step (the hardest) add the frequencies found with the blindscan,
I hope I can tell you soon that it's successful.
My first attempts were not successful with copy / paste:(

I use Notepad++ for copying and pasting satellites.xml files.

Excuse me for all my questions a little silly, I am primarily a dxer and I am quite new to the world E2.
But since I have the Nino pro in the hands with his fabulous Blindscan I now want to understand as much as possible.
Is there a way to reduce the gray color in the menu so that the image is less dark when you want to see the characteristics of the frequency?
My example was done with an image editing program.
I searched in the various menus, without success.
If that's not possible it does not matter, it was just a question.
Thank you in advance.12,5wst-vert.jpg

It is the first time that I find a frequency in Continous with A PLS (Modus and code).
This kind of transmision can not be seen by normal receivers or PC cards.
This is still unique (thank you Nino Pro).
Until now we did not even know it existed.screenshot_20181203123219.jpggold315.jpg

Hello,
has this problem ever happened to you?
Sometimes, during a Blindscan the receiver can find no or very few transponders, it is necessary to make a restart and blindscan works normally again.
I am with Openvix latest version 5.17.
The only plugin on my Nino pro is snp-full.400x240 transparencies (picons). It's quite unpleasant because you never know if the blindscan will work properly or not.

I had read somewhere that the PLS and code for multistream could all be in gold. So both root and combo could be converted to gold with of course their own code.
Today at a blindscan on 39 East Hellas Sat, the Nino Pro has as usual now found everything mode and code.
I now feel like he's looking for and finding everyone in Gold mode.
So far, I have found only the code root in many different forum or page for this multi-stream. (Root 218997)
The Edision searched for gold itself and found code 210115 for Gold Mode.mis 39 est.jpggold statt.jpg

The S2 satellite delivery system descriptor when available (EN 300 468 table 41) refers to Gold sequences.

Starting with DVB API 5.11 we will be able to use the new property DTV_SCRAMBLING_SEQUENCE_INDEX and that property will accept only Gold sequences.

In the Blindscan plugin Root sequences are converted to Gold automatically using the root2gold function.

So forget Root, forget Combo (really forget this one). There can be only one PLS mode, the Gold one.

Please do some blindscan tests with SatDreamGr image and see if the problem is the same. This is probably a driver issue.
Thanks.

I downloaded a satellites.xml file from the satellites.xml creation site of Huevos and selected UTF-8 for the coding. Can anyone please confirm the process to get the new satellites.xml file correctly setup and working on my El Nino Pro receiver?

I have installed Filezilla, can connect to the receiver OK and have found a satellites.xml file on the path of /etx/tuxbox but no satellites.xml file is present in /etc/enigma2. Do I simply overwrite the satellites.xml file in /etc/tuxbox with my new file and then restart Enigma2 or do I have to hard reboot the receiver.

There is no satellites.xml located in the /etc/enigma2 folder by default. Enigma2 will first use the satellites.xml located in /etc/enigma2, and if no satellites.xml is found in /etc/enigma2, then the satellites.xml located in /etc/tuxbox will be used.

Install the customized satellites.xml file in /etc/enigma2 for two reasons.
(1) the satellites.xml file will not be overwritten during updates
(2) the satellites.xml may be removed and the box rebooted if there is a problem or error with the file.
Once the satellites.xml file is removed from /etc/enigma2, the receiver will automatically use the satellites.xml file located in /etc/tuxbox on the next boot.

Thank you for this advice.
A question :
before installing SatdreamGR what should I do before?
a "full backup"?
or a "setting backup".?
after should I use "image manager restore"?
I would like after returning to Openvix
but the last satdreamGR is from 06 sept2018 ??

Install Openmultiboot plugin and a formatted USB stick in the nino then you can install Satdream as well as the Vix you have in, then you can boot between the two images

Make a "full backup" and "setting backup". Doing this will ensure you do not lose anything.
Download the last SatDreamGr experimental image, and update it online. Test it and see if the blindscan problems exist.

Stephan are you using my build still or the official one. Edision changed drivers a few days ago to "improve blindscan". Not sure what that means but I haven't seen any problems or lock ups.

I seem to have a strange result from a blind scan with my Nino Pro? From a C Band scan of 40.5W the scan found 72 transponders but when scanning the 72 transponders for channels it found 0 channels. I would have expected it to find quite a lot of channels?

I have attached a few pictures below of the scan settings and results, plus a list of transponders taken from the temporary xml file created by the blind scan. I am running OpenVIX 5.2.017 (release) on the Nino Pro.

I'm using the OpenVIX update available from receiver the 5.2.17.001 experimental
I do not know any other version.
I give up trying with satdreamGR, I'm not comfortable with this image (I can not find blindscan)

I just updated OpenVIX.
This is the version 5.2.018.004 ( experimental)version.jpg
