Not sure I follow

The Samsung is now able to use a gold card only to decode Irdeto/Betacrypt ?

Or something else ?

Now that is strange

The 9500 patch was supposed to do Conax anyway

So why use another CAM

Will these files therefore work in a Conax CAM on other machines to give Viaccess and irdeto ?

Thanks for the info T24.
These files have actually been available for a couple of weeks now. They allow EITHER Irdeto (& Betacrypt) OR Viaccess (& TPS-crypt) on a goldwafer, for use in a standard Conax CAM. They are available in Goran's section at Phill's site. See this thread posted 13/June, which has hexes and editors for download:
http://www.phillsfiles.com/showthread.php?threadid=137

The GW doesn't have enough memory for both at once, but a funcard does. And the funcard version (SF7=Sidd-Fun-7) has been around longer. Also available at Phill's. See this thread with hexes, editor and ocx files for download:
http://www.phillsfiles.com/showthread.php?threadid=14

The files are primarily designed for a Sammy, so I'd be interested to hear of more experiences with other machines.
