Whats the score with SUPERJACK DG-120 ?? just noisey?? not bothered about noise as its not on land near houses... the dish is on an enbankment so it wont be noisey enough that people will wake up :)

I do not know about Superjacks. Having had Stab and Moteck motors and been satisfied with them I just answered the first part of your query. One tends to see Stab and Moteck mentioned quite often on all the boards but not the Superjack.
Perhaps Superjack owners are keeping secrets about them to themselvesO-Ha .

Okay jumbuck you have talk me into it.. just order the moteck motor from germany :( worked out at €54 + €19 p+p .. much cheaper than UK prices :)

I hope that you ordered it from DVB-Shop24 who advertises on the board. Superb prices and delivery £38 +shipping.
Yes I agree about prices, rip-off-great britain.
Read all the stickies about setting up a motor.
I see that Portsmouth is as near as damnit 1*W, you should be ok for useing that satellite for your setting up.
Plenty of help here should you have any problems.
BTW I personally prefer the Stab motors, simply hate trying to fix a dish onto a hanging down stub. Having said that the Moteck motor is faster and slightly quieter than the Stab.
