Spanish Television channel TVE is set for a UK launch in October. It will be the first channel in Spanish on the Sky platform, after the debut of the French channel TV5 in October of last year. The deal was struck last month between the two broadcasters and will complement the French offering. Like TV5, TVE International will be part of the Sky Family Pack. An official announcement of the channel was made yesterday (9th August 2003). TVE will be launching on Sky Digital on 1st October 2003.
