Down to 7,4 dB at it's lowest on 12 304 H. Light rain here at the moment which of course affects the signal. However this is for sure not a good TP at my place! :(

12304 H doing fine here. Similar levels (and daily variations) as f.ex. 10818 V BBC's on 2E. With good margin before any picture loss.

Sorry, still got nothing to measure db's, but it's definitely a strong transponder (among UK fringe's) seen from here.

Don´t worry about dB´s, the´re not all the´re cracked up to be.
BUT, make sure you take several screen shots of Zara Larsson´s hot new video, wife has Midsomer Murders on now, so no chance to see it:(

You have to take into account that if they eventually change the FEC to 5/6 like Sky have done on their transponders then it may push some people over the digital cliff...

Ain't the battle\experiments to keep\improve the picture\reception half of the fun of watching sat tv :O)
Gets very boring if everything works too easily :O) But of course sad for those who may be in regions with nulls\big reception trouble\dish restrictions.

10 818 V is no problem. To compare S/Q on my Vantage it looks like this right now:
12 304: S 87, Q 72 (8,2 dB on Vu+)
10 818: S 87, Q 88 (11,8 dB on Vu +)
Makes me wonder if there might be a problem with my LNB?

Yes and Sky are also using FEC 8/9 on several European (HD) TP:s.
Sky Deutschland uses FEC 9/10 and Canal Digital Nordic FEC 7/8.
Seems likely a change of FEC will be an option to consider also on UK beam TP:s.

No problem with your lnb, here in Spain
10818 V 12.4 dB
12304 H 8.5 dB
Just the way it is!

got no explanation, it's strong and stable here. But maybe it's not E after all?, am (quite) sure it can't be F, but maybe check if any F or G transponders shows similar levels in your regions.

Yes, a recent transponder FEC change is now causing problems getting Sky News HD on a 1.8m in Helsinki. Before it switched it was still watchable most of the time. So even some of the top end European beam transponders are problematic in Finland now with the FEC changes.

2G can't do any of those high frequencies as far as I'm aware.

Kind of, but if I'm totally honest I prefer to do that with the other channels from Europe and keep UK channels just for actually watching TV with. ;)

12129 V Drama etc is also low here, only 8.7 db, according to Flysat also on 2E

12 129 is the second weakest TP and is around 10,2 dB here. 2F UK beam TP:s are around 10,5 dB.
12 304 is for some reason "the black sheep" but fully watchable without break ups so maybe no reason to complain. ;)

I´m jealous, 12129 is only 8.7 dB here, so you have 1.5 dB on me! Obviously 2E favours the north on the spot beam.
As for 12304, can anyone advise if there are any stupidly powerful data txp´s close to it?
