hi, i'm new to all this and was wondering if someone could give me a brief explanation of how it all works. i have a pic programmer that will take cards, what software do i need to use to reprogram cards. another question, could someone please explain about kevlar and ecms, and what they are.

n3xu56, have a look around the forum and you will see that ITV Digital is in a state of flux at the moment. It could be that in a week or so, there will be nothing to decrypt. You must check that your programmer is capable of programming both pic and eeprom, have a look in the cards and programmers forum, the subject of what cards for which is dealt with quite thoroughly.
