Hi sraheens..
I am a fellow Paddy who was in the same predicament only a while ago..the lads on this forum are tops and will give you all the help you need or at least point you in the right direction....I bought most of my stuff from online stores in Germany....the prices are Euro and very reasonable even taking into consideration the post and packaging....do a google search ( type in Google.de) and when you get onto the German google page type in satellite equipment..this should give you an endless list of online shops...but read some of the posts just gone as some people have had bad experiences...I had one myself with a motor...but it turned out fine in the end..
Good luck and stick with it cos it's a great hobby plus you get something for nothing if you work hard enough at it..
Cheers
Gandalf

no, RTE is most definately not FTA, FTV maybe, but you'll be needing a card and a sky box: _http://skycards.net/irishsky.php
or a dragon cam can do it (still need a proper card) if you have a serial number you can pinch from a sky box.
