Hi,

ive been playing with satellite cards on a pc for some months now but have reached probably the limit of my knowledge so I have read through the threads and im still a bit confused.

I have a Nexus -s CI card otherwise known as a ss1. I just got myself a Dragon cam as I was told it was a good one + a loader card.
the Dragon cam is seen by the nexus software and I can read the contents of the predator 3.25.

problem is thats the limit.
ive been told a Dragon cam is a multi access cam as it may not be recognised by software like progdvb.

Help !

what can I do ? im lost and hope someone here may have some ideas.

thanks for reading.

I used to have nexus+ dragon setup and it worked with progdvb no problem.
You have to enable the CI interface within ProgDvb than it will work. (there is a switch in one of the menus, sorry do not know where, I've changed to dreambox since.)
It decodes ok, however you will need the original Nexus software to upload new firmware to the cam. That was something I never managed to get done with progdvb

Hey thanks. I have found that too. I must admit this is a bit hard to do but I will carry on for now.

Whats a dreambox, is it a sat reciever or a linux box type thing ?
