A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Fine on the PC, but the laptop TFT screen contrast seems to give a 'sameness' of the colours used

And it seems slower, but it may be the ADSL throughput on a Saturday morning, will report later

I'm finding that it loads more quickly, hope that this will help those using dialup. :)

Its it me or are the posts in 4:3 rather than widescreen ?

And I cannot browse the PC to upload a picture

Sorry if these are sounding like real criticisms Chris, just what Ive noticed

The forum will not be full width, but the last one wasn't either CH, just checked the upload function and it isn't loading the "Browse" button, but that is something that Chris will have to do when he gets in tonight, I dare not touch it. :)

If you like the having the avatars down the side, you need to change an option in your User CP- http://www.satellites.co.uk/php-bin/forum/usercp.php?

Then select- Edit Options

Then scroll down the page to- Thread Display Options

And change the setting for Postbit Layout

Change to Top to display the Avatar across the top of the post, or left for the classic look.

Very nice new look Chris,
Just one thing for us old folk with not very good memories. Sometimes when I post a thread I forget where, so I used to check profile and then go the section that I need.
How can a "featherhead" like myself find threads and replies that we are looking for

If you subscribe to threads when viewing them, you can then go to your usercp at the top of the main page and look under the subscribed threads section. You can ask for weekly or daily mails on responses Rob.

Or you can click on your username from any of your post's... and from the drop down menu select find all post's by (UserName)

Then all your post's will appear like magic.

Can also do the same for any user just by clicking the username.

Have Fun

Still love the new look Chris, and I have not got lost for ages, but the one thing that I miss from the original look is that a members location is no longer seen.
This was very helpful.

Do you mean the location in the left hand side of the panel Rob, under the join date?
