hi satellite dudes, picked up a digibox the other day, which had a card in it - i beleive of the "yellow house" design. my knowledge is very limited when it comes to all things sky - but my understanding was that this card would be good for the freesat stuff (itv ch4 etc) - so I tried it at a freinds house to no avail.

is it the case it may have been 'deactivated'? can it be re-activated at no extra cost, or do I have to fork out £20 to sky.... what i haven't tried is leaving it in a box for an update which sometimes i gather does "stuff"..... what where and how....

Leave it in the box overnight and it will probably update. :)

If its been off a while it will have missed its "stay alive" signals and deactivated. As Rolf says leave the box on for a couple of days and it should come back to life.

If its been bought from ebay or similar it will have the wrong ITV region on it. :D
