I have a Quad LNB, SKY + and Pace 2600,

The sky + does not have any problems.

The new Pace 2600 keeps losing tthe signal. when i do get a signal it very distorted..

Im sure everything was ok beofre i got the new card and the bbc moved to Astra 2D.

Any Ideas ?

Also Gary, is it happening on all channels, or just on the 2D channels. It is pretty common for the quad LNB to be badly skewed when installed, a small tweak may help.

With the quad LNBs, you can twist them in the holder, but if by swapping outlets you have cured the problem, then leave well alone. :)

If its still working tomorrow my next steps would be>
Could be an outer strand intermittently touching the inner cable.
Cable could be naff How old is it? or have you got a uhf splitter on it carrying the terrestrial tv and lnb in 1 cable.
1 output could be naff on the lnb.
