Hi,
I've just downloaded a tv program via a torrent which comes in as an avi file, as i want to watch it on the tv i have converted it to a ts file( which breaks down into 2 files audio ts and video ts) after ftp'ing both of these to the DB the the files are listed as audio ts and video ts, the audio ts when chosen does nothing, the video ts breaks down again to two vob files the first one brings up a few thumb nails of the program the other is the actual program which plays fine but has no sound, i've tried all sorts of buttons but still no sound, any solutions would be much appriciated.
Thanks
Richard.

Sound is fine when viewed on pc

Just answering my own question, mpeg2 is the highest format the db will support which seems to be the prob with my sound trouble.
Thanks

audio ts and video ts

Those are DVD formats if you have a VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folder and aren't the same as transcode files (.ts).
