As you have the b2.00uns loader, you can just upload the CI3.1 FTA file using either the NSD (nokia serial downloader) or the DVBEdit.
But you have to know something, that, there are two (2) different kinds of nokia 9600. one cannot goback to the old CI3.1, this is from my experience.
The one with the word "Mediamaster 9600" on the front door shall not goback to the old FTA software.
The other one with only "Mediamaster", without the 9600, is can easily flashed with any one, dvb2000 or ci3.1.

hope this will help
;)

For your information, I have just bought a new Matrix revolution card, upgraded the Nokia 9600s with C.I. 3.1 and it works like a dream. Can anyone tell me what is the need for the DVB2000?

Yes, you can still get most of what's available with the Nokia 9600 with DVB2000 loaded.

But you need a cam to get any scrambled channel. The best cam to use with the Nokia is the conax 4.00e cam, then use either a Titanium or Opos card.

The problem is that if you don't already have the cam and card these two items are quite costly. There might be cheaper options with other receivers.

Later edit - I now notice you have a Nokia 8750 - DVB2000 is only for Nokia 9200/9500/9600 and a few earlier versions of these models.
