Have a look at RS part number 496-1094 just copy and paste that number in any Rs site, that one looks nice and HD & its 500ma. Would that do the trick ?

Should be fine (assuming the choke is the only component that has fried).

Postage 10 quid but next day delivery so not to bad, the idiots here tried to sell me a different valve & type and said it'll do the trick, thats why none of the electrical equipment thats been repaired works properly
