My NDS card is married to a Nokia 9802 - on a sticker under it it says: S/N: 00XXXXX X0XX

My Dragon Cam will only accept 10 digits and it does not work if I add three zeros in front of the first part and forget about the second part with 4 digits.

ANY IDEA OF WHAT TO DO???

You could try leaving off the last digit.

YIPPY!!! I GOT IT!

I do not speak a work Italian, but I found the answer on an Italian page, luckily a part of the text, in the middle of all the Italian was in English...

It turnes out that I should not use the serial number on the sticker on the machine, but rather:

Boxid (for Viasat-NDS cards only) (L)
# 10-digit serial number of the STB, your Viasat card is married to
# you find this serial number on your original Viasat STB in the following menu:
# Setup->Decoder information->STB Identifier
# take this number and remove the last digit
# take the first (left-most) 10 digits, omit the last (right-most) digit
# BOXID = 0000000000

And thats that!

Hi Skrolly,
congratulations on working out how to fix the problem but you could have saved yourself a lot of time if you'd read the readme file in the Predator folder:
New:
Added support for ORIGINAL NDS cards for Sky Italy and Viasat.
Shamelessly re-used the keyset from DJ MAFFS predator311DJ-updated 07/05/05.
Important: in order for the Sky UK NDS premium channels to work you
need to (apart form subscribing that is..):
-Tell your Dragon the serial number of the original Sky box your card is married to.
You can find this 10-digit number in the menu of your original Sky box,
services->system setup->system details.
You need the SERIAL NUMBER (and NOT the viewing card number!)
Now go to the menu of you Dragon, settings->NDS Box serial.
Here, enter the 10 digit serial number including any leading zeroes.
If your NDS card was already inserted into the Dragon, remove and
re-insert it after changing the Box Serial.
Now you're all set!
Failure to set the box serial will result in movie channels and other premium channels not opening.
In future I advise anyone else, downloading any files, to please view any readme or howto files contained in the download, although not mentioned is the fact that for NDS that use 11 digit serial numbers you need to omit the last digit.
Best wishes
Mickha

Not really, it says nothing about deleting the last digit, as you say!

But as long as it works, Im happy!
